From
the foggy depths of the San Francisco Bay Area and out of the rubble of the post
dotcom city surfaces Wiggum.
Dynamic
drums, huge guitars, bass in your face and attitude fuel the gritty sound of
this foursome. Three members grew up, grew strong and grew loud in the confines
of this Northern California musical vortex. The fourth member comes from an
island in the Caribbean, where the lures of guitars and a 68 degree summer
reached to him across the seas.
Thru
the use of a new magical
technology system called “the internet” Peter “The Rock” Hixson
and Jose “Don Jose” Santiago met and instantly knew they had to rawk
together. After an exhaustive search for some masters of the rhythm, Mark
“Markus Maximus” Harris and his friend, Michael “12 pack” Pimental came
into the fold.
With
no talks, meetings, promises, lawyers or financiers the band went to work and
effortlessly came to formulate the agenda:
rawk hard, loud and a lot.
Odd
time signatures, odd lyrics and odd sounds all have their place in the Wiggum
realm. If Ozzy, the Beatles, Jimi Hendrix and Soundgarden had a bastard son,
his/her name would be Wiggum.
From a multi-style house-party-festival to the grungey fantabulous DoubleDown Saloon in Las Vegas to San Francisco’s own Bottom of the Hill, Wiggum has managed to bring the action, energy and musical satisfaction to fans and first time listeners.
